In May of 1930, PCC was the site of the United States versus Canada Davis Cup semifinals match.

PCC member Hunter Lott was a participant in the contest and the Americans doubles team of Wilmer Allison and John Van Ryn defeated the Canadians to win the match. The club hosted another US Davis Cup in 1932 against Australia.
